Something for Everyone

I hope you enjoy the upcoming Tour Tuesday posts from my recent trip to Colorado. My professional organization (IECA) always likes to plan a wide variety of schools for us to tour. This was a relatively short tour week as we only toured seven schools, but the variety of the schools is really great!

One of the big takeaways from the week is that there is something for everyone: big, small, rural, urban, rah-rah sports vibes, small close-knit communities, classes with 300 to 400 people, classes capped at 25 students. I am going to start ramping up my meetings with my juniors so they can really start digging in and seeing what kinds of schools they are looking for and which schools that offer those things make sense to be added to their lists.

This picture is the group of us who toured together. Lots of people liked my Florida attire that I brought to CO. Other people have more of a NYC vibe with more blacks, whites, and greys in their wardrobe. Just like the variety of fashions that we can choose from, we can all choose to find a college that provides exactly what we are looking for - one that is custom fit for us.

Can you spot me in the pic?
