Hi, I'm Rebecca.
Helping students find the right college is more than a process—it’s a responsibility I take seriously.
I’m the founder of Custom Fit College Counseling, and I work with students and families who want thoughtful, personalized guidance through one of the most important decisions they’ll make. My approach combines strong academic training, years of hands-on experience, and a deep understanding of how today’s college admissions landscape really works.
Education & Professional Qualifications
I graduated summa cum laude from Cornell College with degrees in Secondary Education and Spanish, and I was honored to be inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. I am bilingual in Spanish and earned my master’s degree from Saint Louis University’s campus in Madrid, Spain, an experience that deepened both my academic background and my global perspective.
I later earned a College Counseling Certificate with distinction from UCLA Extension, where I received specialized training in college planning, application strategy, and ethical advising practices. I am also an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
Experience Supporting Students & Families
For the past eight years, I have worked closely with students as an ACT and SAT tutor, which gave me a front-row view of how overwhelming the college application process can feel for both students and parents. Through that work, I realized how transformative clear guidance, organization, and encouragement can be during this time.
Today, I support students through every stage of the college journey—from early exploration and building balanced college lists to completing applications and crafting strong personal and supplemental essays. I have experience guiding students applying to highly selective universities across the country as well as helping them identify schools that are the right academic and personal fit.
In addition to touring and researching colleges firsthand, including all of the Florida schools featured on this site, I stay current with admissions trends, institutional priorities, and evolving application requirements.
