Alabama is home to 39,000 students, 32,500 of which are undergrads. They have a student to faculty ratio of 23 to 1, and half of their undergraduate classes have less than 20 students. The university is divided into 12 colleges which offer more than 200 degree programs. They have more than 650 student organizations which give a small campus feel with major resources. Bama is an inclusive and diverse university. For the academic year 2023 to 2024, 60% of their students are from out of state, and more than 5% are international students. Their two largest colleges are the college of business and the college of arts and sciences.
