Iona University is home to approximately 4000 students from all over the world. It is located in New Rochelle, New York, which is in Westchester County, which is a 30 minute train ride from Grand Central Station. This provides the best of both worlds as students study on a relatively small, tight-knit, safe campus, but they have all that NYC has to offer at their fingertips.

99% of their first year students receive scholarships and financial aid. Their student to faculty ratio is 14 to 1. Iona‘s students perform more than 80,000 hours of community service annually. They offer 23 NCAA Division I sports with their most popular sport being men's basketball. They do not offer football, so rugby is their big sport at homecoming.
