North Carolina State University

NC State is one of the top 30 public universities in the US. It is home to 27,000 undergraduates and is a top research institution. The average class size is 35 students, and the student to faculty ratio is 15 to one. They offer more than 100 majors and are part of the ACC. NC State is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is the capital and second largest city in the state. Campus is only about one to one and a half miles from downtown, which is very convenient for the students. There is a Wolfline bus that students can take for free to go downtown, or they can walk, bike, scooter, or skateboard. The buses pass by every 3 minutes and will also take students to nearby towns and the airport. In addition to the main campus, there is the Centennial campus where engineering and textile majors are located, and Centennial biomedical campus for the veterinary program and most of the graduate programs.
