Lake Forest College

Lake Forest College is nestled away in the affluent suburb of Lake Forest, Illinois, which is the town neighboring where I taught for eight years and only 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. Lake Forest is a liberal arts school that is dedicated to elevating students from dreamers to doers. They embrace career preparation at its finest with access to top internships in and around Chicago. The Princeton Review has ranked them as number two for their science lab facilities, and number twenty-four for the best quality of life. The Wall Street Journal ranked them as the number one liberal arts college in the Midwest. About 1800 students attend Lake Forest, and about 20% of them are international students.
