Fashion Institute of Technology

The Fashion Institute of Technology is located in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City and is part of the State University of New York system with a total of 64 schools. It is a premier public institution that offers design and business majors (among 27 other majors) that are both rigorous and experiential. Students participate in hands-on learning from day one. The professors come right from the industry, which allows for amazing mentorship and internship opportunities. Quite a few of these internships lead to job opportunities, and 70% of their students do internships.
