Loyola University Chicago is Chicago’s Jesuit Catholic University. They are the largest of the 27 Jesuit schools in the country. Their Jesuit background means that not only do they have a strong commitment to academics, but they care for the whole person. Loyola believes it is important for a student's mind, body, and spirit to all be healthy. Students take core courses that offer a well-rounded liberal arts education. They are also very committed to social justice.
Loyola is home to 12,000 undergrads from 50 states and 112 countries. 46% of their students identify as students of color, 55% are Catholic, and 45% of their students come from other faiths. All students are welcome at Loyola.
